On Tuesday, 4th February the tradition of giving bread to the poor (under the guidance of Carlow's Will) was recognised after a break of several years. By kind permission, the brief service and ceremony took place in a room at The Bull Hotel, which provided spreads and orange juice to accompany the small bread rolls, kindly provided by The Cake Shop.
The Churchwardens accompanied the Rector and pupils of The Abbey School were delighted by the whole experience.
